Will DeVore is a civil litigation attorney who practices in the areas of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, construction, insurance bad faith, contract law, medical malpractice and condemnation law. He also handles cases involving violations of the 8th Amendment and excessive force disputes against municipalities, prisons, and jails.
Will has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in trial and appellate settings which has given him a broad perspective on both sides of the argument. As a result, in the initial stages of any dispute, he confidently provides every client with a good assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of his or her case.
The majority of Will’s practice involves six to eight figure disputes, many of which are complex litigation matters, but he does not limit himself to only those types of cases. Will prides himself on always keeping his clients informed and up-to-date about the status of their cases and believes that it is the attorney’s responsibility to set the appropriate expectations with each client early and to be a zealous advocate for him/her in every case.
He is honored to be a managing partner of the firm and greatly enjoys working with, and continuously learning from, his father, Fred W. DeVore, III. In addition, Will is supported by paralegals Nancy Swoyer, Connie Hunter, and Anna Bowman who are all heavily involved in his caseload.
In his spare time, Will enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children and taking weekend trips up to the mountains.
